(DALIANNEWS)- The Opening Ceremony of the 17th Dalian Acacia Blossom Festival kicked off at Dalian Forest Zoo, May 25, 2008.
Municipal officials and honorable guests from Japan, South Korea, Russia, Thailand and other courtiers attended the opening ceremony.
The seven-day festival will provide various activities from May 25 to May 31, 2008.
In addition, guests from home and abroad donated over 100,000 yuan to the quake-hit areas in Sichuan Province during the opening.
