BEIJING ¨C China Super League leaders Dalian Shide all but ended Shandong
Luneng's faint title hopes on Wednesday as they trounced the China FA Cup
holders 3-0 to open up a 13-point gap at the top.

Shanghai Shenhua not scheduled to play until Thursday, seven-time champions
Dalian took full advantage to increase their lead with a decisive home victory
against third-placed Shandong.
Striker Zou Jie opened the scoring for the
home side in the 35th minute and the 24-year-old then bagged his 13th goal of
the season a minute into the second half to give Dalian a 2-0 lead.

Zhaojun added a third just after the hour mark as Dalian cruised to their 16th
win in 19 games, keeping them firmly on course for another league
title.
Shandong's defeat allowed Tianjin Teda to regain third spot with a
2-0 win over last year's Super League champions Shenzhen Jianlibao. Lu Wei
struck after 12 minutes and Mao Biao added a second with nine minutes remaining
to give Tianjin all three points.
Wuhan Huanghelou also had an
opportunity to leapfrog Shandong but could only draw 0-0 win Inter
Shanghai.
League leading scorer Branko Jelic raised his season tally to
18 with a hat-trick in Beijing Hyundai's 3-1 win over Sichuan Guancheng, while
Qingdao Zhongneng recovered from a two-goal deficit to beat strugglers Liaoning
4-3.
On Thursday, Shanghai Shenhua take on local rivals Shanghai Zobon
while Shenyang Ginde and Chongqing Qiche meet in a bottom-of-the-table
clash.
