Wheelchair research center co-founded by WF & DJU launches in Dalian

(DALIANNEWS)¡ªThe inauguration of Behring Wheelchair R&D Center in the
partnership between Wheelchair Foundation (WF) and Dalian Jiaotong University (DJU) with total
joint venture of 1.3 million RMB was held yesterday at northeast port city of
Dalian.
The Center dedicates in quality appraisal to wheelchairs made in
China purchased by WF, as well as investigation and design for comfortable style
or wheelchairs particularly for athletes.
Kenneth Behring Chairman of WF
said on yesterday¡¯s inauguration ceremony that he intended to donate 3,000 more
wheelchairs to Dalian.
He once donated 2,000 wheelchairs to Dalian in the
name of Wheelchair Foundation before.
Let 1 million handicapped ¡°stand
up¡± and ¡°walk out¡± home to breath fresh air and bathed the sunshine within 5
years, which is Chairman Kenneth Behring¡¯s life-long pursue.
