The world's top seven teams are to gather here in May for the 2005
international women's volleyball tournament, organizers announced in Dalian on
Friday.
Set to compete in the event are teams from Cuba, Dominican
Republic, Poland, Bulgaria, Japan,the Netherlands and hosts China.
China, Poland, Dominican Republic and Japan arepooled in Group A in the
preliminary stage while in Group B are Cuba, the Netherlands and Bulgaria.
China is believed to
field its first-choice line-up for the May 30-June 3 tournament.
