G20成立于1999年，由阿根廷、澳大利亚、巴西、加拿大、中国、法国等19国及欧盟等国家和组织组成。由各国财政部长及中央银行行长代表和欧盟轮值主席国及欧洲中央银行行长参加G20每年一次的财长和央行行长会议。由于这些国家在经济方面的重要性以及广泛的代表性，20国集团在国际舞台上有着深远的影响力。G2O没有常设机构，2005年1月主席国由中国接任，今年的部长级会议将于10月在河北香河举行，两次副手会议分别在重庆和大连举行。

■Brief:
G-20 was initiated in Berlin on 15-16 December 1999. The G-20 is an informal forum which seeks to promote an open and constructive dialogue between industrial nations and emerging-market countries on key issues relating to the int'l monetary and financial system. The members are 19 countries and the European Union. The G-20 finance ministers and central bank governors, plus their deputies, meet once a year.
